The statement of purpose requirements are posted here. Applicants should be sure to submit the appropriate statement. Special instructions apply to applicants to the JD/MPH program and Master of Science in Health Care Management.
Special Note to Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree Only (or non-US equivalent): The Departments of Biostatistics and Epidemiology will review applicants holding a bachelor's degree only for the master of science 80 credit (SM2) or the doctoral program (PhD or SD, respectively). The Departments of Environmental Health; Global Health and Population; Health Policy and Management; Nutrition; and Society, Human Development, and Health may consider applicants with a bachelor's degree only, however, most successful candidates have some relevant work experience. The MPH requires a prior graduate degree or enrollment as an MD(DO)/MPH or JD/MPH (with Harvard Law School only).
